bluephoria.

yesterday i went downtown to the panasonic theatre with justin, james and amy to watch the blue man group (thanks for the tickets steve!) it was such an impressive show. so incredibly creative and funny too. (those blue men have quite the sense of humour. teehee.)

but i think the most impressive part was all the percussion...and just how everything fit together. and what they used as instruments. so creative. the music sounded kinda "electronica-y" (for lack of a better word) but with a more tribal sound. almost like john powell in the amazon...? (uhh. ok, maybe not. haha.) but the fact that it was live made it crazier. and the fact that it seemed the bass was turned up really high in the speakers made it that much more cool. it's hard to explain, but it sounded really good.

all in all, it was a great show! if you're looking to see a non-typical show with humour and awesome music played by dirty dirty musicians then you should seriously consider this one. (if you thought those intel commercials were good, the show is just SOOOOOO much better!) :)

oh, and if you do happen to go down to see the blue man group and go the bathroom, while you're in there listen carefully to the song that's being played. ;) *in the bathroom...* (bah hah. such greatness.)
